　対象となるのは、
『Genesis Live（ライヴ）』（1973年／VJCP-68900）
『Seconds Out（眩惑のスーパー・ライヴ）』（1977年／VJCP-68901〜2）
『Three Sides Live（スリー・サイズ・ライヴ）』（1982年／VJCP-68903〜4）
の3タイトル。
また、オリジナル・リリース当時は『The Way We Walk, Volume One: The Shorts』（1992年）と『The Way We Walk, Volume Two: The Longs』（1993年）の2枚連作で発売された作品を、曲順をライヴ演奏通りに再編成した『ザ・ウェイ・ウィ・ウォーク』（VJCP-68905〜6）も対象です。
　
　いずれも2009年最新デジタル・リマスタリング音源を採用、UKオリジナルLP盤ジャケットを忠実に再現した紙ジャケ化です。発売は12月23日。プログレ・レジェンドの名演の数々を新たな仕様でもお楽しみください！

ボックス・セットのリリースが続いている、英国のプログレッシヴ・ロック・バンド、ジェネシス（Genesis）より、新たなボックス・セットが到着！　ライヴ映像をセットにしたDVD5枚組の『The Movie Box 1981-2007』（写真）が発売されます。
　
5枚のうち4枚のディスクは、『Three Sides Live』（1982年）、『Genesis Live - The Mama Tour』（1984年）、『Genesis Live At Wembley Stadium』（2003年）、『Genesis: The Way We Walk - Live In Concert』（2002年）という過去にVHSとして発売されたライヴ映像をDVD化したもので、いずれも音源には新たに制作された5.1chサラウンド・サウンドとドルビー・デジタル・サウンド・ミックスを採用。また『Three Sides Live』にはオーディオ・トラックが、『Mama Tour』にはフィル・コリンズによる「The Making Of The Mama Album」が、『Live At Wembley Stadium』にはツアー・ドキュメンタリーが、それぞれボーナス要素として追加されます。
　
ディスク5は、1999年12月に海外で放映されたバンドのドキュメンタリー『VH1 Behind The Music Special』の2009年アップデート版で、歴代のメンバーがバンド結成時からの32年間を振り返っています。

放題で「創世記」と命名されたジェネシスのデビューアルバム。
ファーストメンバーは、

ピーター・ガブリエル - Vocals/Flute/Perc.
トニーバンクス - Key
マイク・ラザフォード - Bass
アンソニー・フィリップス - Guitar
ジョン・シルバー - Drums

となっている。

「チャーターハウス」の先輩であったミュージシャン兼プロデューサー、ジョナサン・キングのプロデュースで1969年にデビュー。（録音時に、ドラマーはチャーターハウスの級友だったジョン・シルバーに交代）
当時アメリカに同名のバンドが存在したためにバンド名をアルバムジャケットにクレジットせずに発売したことや、ジョナサン・キングに気に入られようとビージーズを意識したサウンドだったりしたため、評価が芳しくなく、プロ意識の欠如を反省したメンバーはアートロックの方向性を強く意識し、練りに練った作品をリリースするようになった。

Album Details
For the first time ever, Genesis first album issued on CD in an accurate facsimile of its original cover, and with a bonus disc, at mid-price. The deluxe slipcased package will also feature, for the first time since the original 1969 vinyl release, Peter Gabriels sleevenote and all the lyrics and drawings from the insert. The booklet will also feature photos and ephemera from the groups early days, as well as a new sleevenote from an acknowledged Genesis authority. Disc 1 will contain the original 13 song album in its entirety, whilst disc 2 will contain the four non-album single sides, along with a further nine tracks of demos and rough mixes from 1967 and 1968, all arranged chronologically. Copies of the original black and gold sleeve vinyl issue of this album with insert change hands for huge amounts of money at last there will be a CD edition that includes all the elements of that release, as well as a bonus disc! フィル・コリンズの集大成というべき作品であり、ジェネシスがポップに変身し,ヒットを記録した代表作。ジェネシスより,フィルの活動が圧倒的に目立ち,映画『カリブの熱い夜』でグラミーを獲得し,プロデューサーとしても大成功した。

アース・ウインド&ファイヤーのホーン・セクションを導入したのもヒットの大きな原因かと思われる。

しかし、これで完全にPOP路線に走った感がある。本当のジェネシスではない、という意見や、POP路線で考えるといい作品だ、という意見もあり、、。
ただ、ちょっと違うような気がするが。
